1. Fishkill Farms

Fishkill’s Farms’ pick-your-own season begins in early June – starting with sweet sugar snap peas and strawberries.
July is the month for sour and sweet cherries, as well as blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries that are officially certified as organic.
But then the end of July and August are all about juicy, ripe nectarines and peaches, as well as a large range of eggplants and heirloom tomatoes.

They’re also open in winter, with cut-your-own Christmas tree activities at their baiting hollow nursery.
Lewin Farms’ crop offerings have continued to grow and diversify over the years, so there is something growing on the farm for everyone! But if you want to pick peaches, you can do so from mid-July to mid-September.
3. Love Apple Farm

First opening in 1969, Love Apple Farm has been a huge part of the Hudson Valley farming community for decades.
Stretching across 80 acres, the farm is open throughout the year and is a beloved destination for locals and tourists alike for fruit picking, a taste of rural living, and a break from everyday hustle and bustle.
As well as apples they also grow strawberries, raspberries, plums, gooseberries, cherries, blueberries, blackberries and, of course, peaches!
But that’s not all, there is also a café, gift shop, market, playground, and a petting farm at Love Apple Farm.
4. Prospect Hill Orchards
340 Milton Turnpike, Milton, NY 12547
Prospect Hill Orchards has been run by the same family for seven generations, and the peach picking season runs from July through August, where there is a wide range of peaches available for you to pick, such as donut, white, and yellow peaches.
Plus, they have apricots, nectarines, and plums.
Prospect Hill Orchards is a great time for families, as there are so many things to do! For example, a hayride pulled by a tractor gives you a tour of the orchard, such as the picnic area and the pumpkin patches.
The farm also has festival weekends, where you can find your way out of a corn maze, press cider at the traditional hand press, and kick back and enjoy the cider you made with your own fair hand!
5. Soons Orchard

Soons Orchard has been growing apples for over 100 years and is home to 30 acres filled with over 50 varieties of apples, and 35 specifically for making hard cider.
You can find everything from Cameo, Honeycrisp, McIntosh and Northern Spy apples at Soons Orchard, so no matter what kind of apples you love, you’re sure to find them here!
However, Soons Orchard also grows peaches, and u-pick events take place in August.
6. Stuart’s Fruit Farm

Just an hour’s drive from New York City, Stuart’s Fruit Farm is a family-run farm that was founded in Westchester County in 1828.
There is something for everyone at Stuart’s Fruit Farm throughout the year. You can pick a variety of vegetables and flowers in the spring, apples, peaches, and pumpkins in the fall, and Christmas trees for winter.
We personally believe fall is the best time of year to visit Stuart’s Fruit Farm, as you can pick peaches and apples, enjoy a hayride tour of the orchard, and head to the farm stand to buy fresh produce, as well as the bakery to enjoy homemade pies and apple cider donuts.
But before you head home, you simply must enjoy a family picnic surrounded by beautiful autumnal scenery and fall leaves.
7. Wilkens Fruit And Fir Farm
1335 White Hill Rd, Yorktown Heights, NY 10598
The apple-picking season begins at Wilkens Fruit And Fir Farm at the start of September, and it’s recommended you stop by at the start of the month. They also sell a range of peaches that you can pick yourself!
Wilkens Farm is also home to several acres of Christmas trees that you can cut yourself, as well as not one, but three farmer’s markers where you can buy their famous apple cider donuts, freshly baked pies, and pressed apple cider and other gifts!
Their harvest season begins in August with peach picking, while apple-picking season begins in September.
8. Windy Acres Orchard

You’re spoiled for choice when it comes to u-pick fruit at Windy Acre Farms! Just head over to their Facebook page to see what’s available throughout the year.
You can pick fruits such as apples, blackberries, blueberries, gooseberries, grapes, nectarines, pumpkins, raspberries, strawberries, white peaches, and yellow peaches.
They also have sour cherries available on the farm stand, as well as sunflowers you can cut, and a corn maze in the fall.

Battleview Orchards has been run by the Applegate family since 1908, and has been giving the community the opportunity to pick their wonderful crops for decades.
Their Country Store is open throughout the year, and sells their own apple cider donuts and fresh pressed cider, as well as high-quality fresh fruits and vegetables.
They also stock a full line of freshly baked breads, pies, and other baked goods, as well as fruit and veggie platters, gift baskets, and gourmet items.
11. Ochs Orchard

For a beautiful day picking peaches, head to Ochs orchards! You can also pick blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries throughout August.
When you’re done picking peaches, swing by the petting zoo to hang out with the animals before enjoying a cone of homemade ice cream.
As well as peaches, you can also bring home the stunning preserves sold in the Farm Market.
12. Demarest Farms

Founded in 1886, Demarest Farms has been providing delicious produce for the local community for decades. They boast their peaches are the best in the area, and there is a huge range for you to choose from.
The farmer’s market and the petting zoo are an unmissable part of your visit!

13. DuBois Farms Pick-Your-Own

The peach picking season at DuBois Farms begins at the start of July, and has many other pick-your-own options throughout the summer until the end of September.
During this season, DuBois also hosts events like meeting the farm animals and live music.
At DuBois, you can pick your own apples, eggplants, flowers, grapes, nectarines, peaches, peppers, pumpkins, strawberries, tomatoes, and more.
There is also a farmer’s market, a bakery where you can buy tasty desserts such as homemade, warm apple cider donuts and a range of handmade pies, an ice cream shop, pizzeria, and the Tavern where you can enjoy craft beer, local hard cider, and wine.
14. Lawrence Farms Orchards

Visiting Lawrence Farms Orchard is a summer activity for the whole family. The family that owns the land has run the farm with a pick-your-own fruit option for over 30 years.
But there’s more to the orchards than just peaches! There are many fun activities to take part in, not to mention the stunning scenery.
Lawrence Farms Orchards is famous for its crop diversity, beautiful location, their animals such as their chickens and goats, and the family-friendly atmosphere.

15. Von Thun’s Country Farm Market

The peach season at Von Thun’s Country Farm Market takes place through August, giving you ample time to explore all the farm offers and make repeat visits.
The pick-your-own experience offered by the farm is simply amazing, packed full of other features that the whole family will love.
Many visitors to Von Thun’s claim the peaches are the best they’ve ever tasted, so you’ve got to try them out!
As well as fields of fresh produce, sprawling acres of pumpkins, and two apple orchards, Von Thun’s has a hayride and an interactive corn maze, and they are also involved with a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program.
Plus, they host family weekends in the fall every year.
Von Thun’s also hosts school tours during the spring and the fall, as well as a variety of family fun days throughout the year.
